General Asphalt Paving will be returning to our borough to add seed and soil as needed next to the streets where paving has been completed. They will be starting on the North side of Route 1 the week of May 4th, weather permitting.
After seed and soil is completed, they will return to finish the paving project on the South side of Route 1. We anticipate that work will begin the week of 5/18, again weather permitting.
Please refer to the map of the borough roads which show which streets have been paved, which have only had base repairs and those that have not been addressed yet.
It is anticipated that the paving project should be completed by the end of May or early June. All start and completion dates are subject to weather conditions.
In these next few weeks, if you are anticipating any work being done at your property that involves excavating the road, please let us know as soon as possible. Permit fees for excavations done on unpaved roads can be obtained at minimal cost. Permit Fees for excavations done after the road has been paved are more costly.
