Recycling

Republic is the current Borough recycler.

Recycling will be collected EVERY Wednesday. If a major holiday (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day or Christmas) falls on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, recycling will be collected on Thursday of that week.

Recycling cans are provided to new residents free of charge. Replacement or additional cans are available at a cost of $5.00 each. Call (215) 752-5835 or email for more information. Republic is making 96 gallon containers available for trash as well as recyclables. If you have need of a larger container, please contact the Borough Office (number above) to place your order. Payment of $60 per container is required when ordering.

Single-stream recycling is now available, which means all recyclable items go into the same container. See a complete listing of acceptable recyclable items at Republic’s website: https://www.republicservices.com/recycling-guide?tab=local
