Ready Notify PA is Pennsylvania’s official emergency alert system to notify residents about major emergencies, severe weather, public safety issues, and urgent instructions. It operates through the Roam Secure Alert Network (RSAN), a system that allows emergency management officials to send alerts directly to residents.
Bucks County uses the Roam Secure Alert Network (RSAN) to notify residents of a major crisis or emergency situation. Authorized senders, for example the County or Borough Emergency Management Agencies, use the RSAN system to notify residents of impending situations. You can sign-up to receive alerts by any (or all) of several means, including:
- email account (work, home, other)
- cell phone (via SMS)
- pager
- smartphone/PDA (BlackBerry, Treo & and other handhelds)
