Open Positions: Zoning Review Committee and Emergency Management Committee


Several new committees are being formed.  If you are interested in serving as a committee member on either of the committees listed below, forward your resume to Dawn Seader, Council President at dseader@langhornemanor.org no later than July 9th. The application period is now closed.

Zoning Review Committee:  This committee will assist in the review of our current Zoning Ordinance to be compliant with current Borough ordinances and PA Borough Code.  This project will require extensive review/research of current ordinances and suggesting additions/deletions to the current Zoning Ordinance.

Emergency Management Committee:  This Committee will be working with Frank Farry, the Emergency Management Coordinator, to develop a Borough plan for government and residents by helping them prepare for, cope with and recover from the effects of natural and manmade disasters. The scope of emergency management includes all activities in the emergency management cycle, including prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery phases.
