Trash/Garbage Collection

The Borough’s trash collection day is every Wednesday.
Republic is the current Borough trash hauler.
If the regularly scheduled trash and/or recycling day falls on a holiday, your collection will be on the following day.

Republic is the current Borough recycler.
Beginning January 6, 2016, Recycling will be collected EVERY  Wednesday. If the Wednesday pick-up is a holiday, recyclables will be picked-up the next day, Thursday.
Recycling cans are provided to new residents, free of charge. Replacement or additional cans are available at a cost of $5.00 each. Call (215) 752-5835 or email for more information.  Republic is making 96 gallon containers available for trash as well as recyclables.  If you have need of a larger container, please contact the Borough Office (number above) to place your order.  Payment of $60 per container is required when ordering.

Reporting Street Light Problems

To report a street light problem, call the Borough office at (215) 752-5835.
One of the most important items needed when reporting a problem is the Pole Number. If you are unable to locate the pole number, please provide the nearest house address. This information is required to locate the exact pole with the problem. It is difficult to find a street light that does not function during the day when the lights are not on.
